Our Jamaica villa is located in the country North Coast region, and as such is no more than 2 hours' drive to any of the country's largest towns. But the fun and adventure, museums and shopping start much closer to the villas.

Nearby, you will find Green Grotto Cave, where you can take a tour through the historic underground caves that run below Discovery and Runaway bays. These caves were originally homes for the indigenous Arawak Indians, and fragments of pottery and adzes can still be found in them. The caves were later used by the Spanish as a hiding place to stay safe from the invading English.

In the foothills just outside of Ocho Rios, which is about two miles from the villa, you will find Coyaba River Garden & Museum, an area of rich tropical vegetation and the spectacular Mahoe Falls. There are also a couple of other options for enjoying lovely garden areas and walking trails in the area, including Crabbrook Gardens and Shaw Park Gardens.

Blue Mountain Biking Tours provides a beautiful downhill bike rides that run through the mountainsides and rolling hills of the country.

There are also plenty of shopping opportunities as well as facilities that will help you and your family tour the rainforest, visit with ocean life like dolphin, sharks and stingrays (safely, of course), or enjoy horseback riding through trails on a working plantation.
