Thanks to the economy, as consumers we have gotten into a habit in recent years of letting price trump quality when it comes to the clothes that we buy. In other words, you would rather get something cheap then get it well made. Not to say that the cheap clothes are bad or anything, they are just short term purchases that will probably wear out much quicker than their well made cousins. It makes sense that we would shop this way. We need to cut costs and one of the easiest ways to do this is to cut down on quality instead cutting out something such as clothing all together (which is fairly impossible, when you think about it). There is one piece of clothing that you should never skimp on: medical scrubs. Whether its men's scrubs or women's scrubs, you are always better off paying a little more for something that is well designed and will last you, then something that you can buy for a few dollars less.
If you are a medical professional and spend any time in medical scrubs you can automatically tell the difference between well designed scrubs and generic ones. Well made scrubs will conform to your features and have an overall more comfortable fit, while generic ones will just kind of hang off of you like a t-shirt. The more if conforms to your shape the less trouble you'll have moving around and performing the intricate things you'll need to do to do your job well.
One of the biggest things that you'll notice with superior scrubs, though, is not just how they fit but also what they repel. As a doctor you have to deal with a lot of high pressure and, face it, messy situations. You want, nay, need scrubs that won't just repel stains, but also keep you cool. Thanks to recent technology many high end companies develop scrubs with fabric that are strong enough to repel stains, but also have enough breathability to keep you cool in some very high stress situations. In addition, the fabric will actually lift sweat from your skin and disperse it through the fabric and into the air. This means no soaking fabric or sweat stains to deal with. Talk about a leap in technology.
The good news for those of you looking to cut costs is that it's not like you are going to be spending hundreds of dollars on these scrubs, they are still pretty affordable for what they are offering. You can find out more information by looking up high quality scrubs online. If you still want to save a few bucks you can cut down on those expensive coffee drinks you buy every morning.
