If you watch many of the medical dramas out there such as "House", "Grey's Anatomy", and the late, great "ER", you'll notice something interesting when you look at the doctors in their full medical gear: it is possible to look good in scrubs. Men look good in the mens scrubs, women look good in the women's scrub. And it's not just the chiseled good looks of the actors and actresses either, like with any job, good looking work clothes can really enhance the way you look. The scrubs that the actors are wearing on your favorite medical drama's aren't just props for the television shows, but actual medical scrubs that are developed for the average medical professional on the job. Sure they might cost you a little more than your everyday generic scrub, but they are so darn worth it, and not just to make you look good.

Let's get this out of the way first off: it's okay to want to look good in your medical scrubs. It's human nature, so don't feel bad. The good news is that when it comes to stuff like scrubs and lab coats the stuff that usually looks the best are also the most versatile and best designed brands on the market. The reason for this is because when you buy scrubs you essentially get what you pay for. If you pay for generic scrubs you are going to get a generic fit and generic fabric. It may last you for a few months, but thanks to either rips or stains, you're going to need a new one sooner or later.

High end medical scrubs, though, are, simply put, better. They look better, fit better, feel better, and perform better. It's like the difference between buying a finely crafted luxury automobile and a thirty year old used automobile: sure it might cost more, but it just makes sense to spend the extra money on something you can trust. A well made scrub fit to your specific measurements which means that it will stay put, and out of your way, in high pressure situations. In addition, it is made out of fabric that won't just repel stains but also keep you cool, as well as lift sweat from your skin and disperse it into the air. This means no stains, either from foreign matter or your own sweat.

To find more information on these higher quality scrubs, check one of the many specialty stores online which sell them. This is not a purchase to mess around on. Don't think that just because you are saving a few dollars you aren't going to be sorry you good something that is of lower quality. McSteamy would never do that, right?
